Around St Mark's Square

No, I haven't made it back to Venice, I'm still continuing my sporadic uploading of my many photos. Capping off the St Mark's area, this time it's the outside of the church and the Doge's Palace. Photos were officially verboten inside the Palace proper, so as always, that means a few sneaky poor-quality shots, naughty. Sorry if some of these are repeats from earlier posts!

Inside the dungeons

The 'box of truth' in the Doge's Palace where you were meant to anonymously denounce your neighbours for any criminal doings they might be up to. Failing to denounce people was itself a crime.
